[接上页] Cap 1042A reg 14 Sale and consumption of liquors Alcoholic liquors may be sold and consumed on the premises of the institute, subject to such conditions and restrictions as the committee may from time to time impose. Cap 1042A reg 15 Use of chapel RELIGIOUS SERVICES The chapel in the institute shall be used for divine service and worship according to the rites and ceremonies of the Church of England or for such services of any other Church as the chaplain or any person acting in his place may approve. (L.N. 66 of 1970) Cap 1042A reg 16 Service and attendance to be voluntary Divine service and worship shall be voluntary and the attendance thereat of any person using the institute shall also be voluntary. Cap 1042A reg 17 Appointment of chartered accountants and honorary secretary (1) At the annual general meeting the committee shall appoint- (a) a firm of chartered accountants to manage the financial affairs of the institute and to be responsible for the collection of all moneys due to the corporation and for the making of all necessary payments; and (b) an honorary secretary who shall- (i) hold office until a successor is appointed; and (ii) perform such duties as may be delegated to him by the committee.(2) Pending and subject to any appointment under paragraph (1)(a), the firm of Messrs. Lowe, Bingham & Matthews shall be the chartered accountants of the corporation. Cap 1042A reg 18 Appointment of auditors AUDITORS At the annual general meeting there shall be elected annually one or more auditors of the corporation. Cap 1042A reg 19 Duties as auditors (1) The auditor shall- (a) examine and report upon all accounts and books of the corporation; and (b) if and when required by the committee, audit and report upon any of such accounts and books.(2) The accounts and books of the corporation shall be open for inspection by the auditor at all reasonable times. Cap 1042A reg 20 Appointment of bankers BANKERS The bankers of the corporation shall be The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation or such other bankers as the committee may from time to time determine. (L.N. 333 of 1990) Cap 1042A reg 21 Duty to pay moneys into bank account All subscriptions and pecuniary donations and the income of investments and all other moneys from time to time forming part of the general funds of the corporation shall on receipt thereof be paid to the credit of the corporation with its bankers. Cap 1042A reg 22 Investment and use of general funds All moneys forming part of the general funds of the corporation shall be invested and controlled by the committee and used in any way it thinks fit in pursuance of the objects of the corporation. (L.N. 51 of 1990) Cap 1042A reg 23 Method of drawing and signing cheques Cheques shall be drawn on the order of the committee and shall be signed either by the chartered accountants signing alone or by any 2 members of the committee signing jointly.
