[接上页] The system supprot and maintenance task includes the followingsub-tasks: ．Providing troubleshooting assistance to the CAA of AOAWS prob-lems if and when they occur. ．Supporting and maintaining AOAWS software and hardware. ．Correcting AOAWS defects that may arise (e.g., software bugs).．Upgrading, when appropriate, the AOAWS operating system. ．Installing version-4,x software as necessary to address any s-ystem defects. Resources Required: 1 Staff: System Administration (16 person-weeks)US$32,000Software Engineering (6 person weeks)US$28,000Modeling Scientists (6-person week)US$25,200Task Total US$85,2002.2 Task #2 -Development & implementation of System Enhancements AOAWS system enhancements will be developed, tested and impleme-nted during FY2003. System refinements will include upgrading t-he MM5 model to the latest available version relesed by AIT's d-esignated representative, UCAR, upgrading the MultidimensionalDisplay System (MDS), tuning the performance monitoring system,and modifying system configuration based on any external networkcommunications changes.
