CAP 1139 THE CHINESE UNIVERSITY OF HONG KONG (DECLARATION OF SHAW COLLEGE) ORDINANCE

To provide for the declaration of Shaw College as a constituent College of The Chinese University of Hong Kong and to make consequential amendments to The Chinese University of Hong Kong Ordinance. (Enacted 1986) [1 August 1986] (Originally 59 of 1986) Cap 1139 s 1 Short title This Ordinance may be cited as The Chinese University of Hong Kong (Declaration of Shaw College) Ordinance. (Enacted 1986) Cap 1139 s 2 Interpretation In this Ordinance, unless the context otherwise requires- "constituent College" (成员书院), "Council" (大学校董会) and "University" (香港中文大学) have the meanings respectively assigned to them by the principal Ordinance; "principal Ordinance" (主体条例) means The Chinese University of Hong Kong Ordinance (Cap 1109). (Enacted 1986) Cap 1139 s 3 Declaration of Shaw College as College of University Shaw College is, in accordance with a special resolution of the Council, declared to be a constituent College of the University. (Enacted 1986) Cap 1139 s 4 Consequential amendments The principal Ordinance is amended in the manner and to the extent set out in the Schedule.
