(78 of 1999 s. 7) (Food Business Regulation, section 31(7)) [19 January 1979] (L.N. 17 of 1979; L.N. 47 of 1979; L.N. 105 of 1984; L.N. 100 of 1993) Cap 132Z para 1 (Repealed 78 of 1999 s. 7) Cap 132Z para 2 Exemptions from section 31(1) Any person who- (a) carries on the business of bottling or canning edible oil; or (b) carries on the business of a restaurant or of a siu mei and lo mei shop, and does so in- (i) a public market in a stall which he holds under a tenancy agreement with the Director of Food and Environmental Hygiene, or (ii) a private market as a licensed stallholder under the Private Markets Regulation (Cap 132 sub. leg.); or(c) carries on the business of sorting, sifting, drying or repacking of tea; or (L.N. 105 of 1984; L.N. 100 of 1993) (d) carries on the business of packing of rice, (L.N. 100 of 1993) is hereby exempted, to the extent of such business, from the obligation to hold a food business licence under section 31(1) of the Food Business Regulation (Cap 132 sub. leg.).
